FAQ

How can cordyceps help my pet?

Humans are totally hooked on cordyceps these days! It's all the rage for boosting energy levels and athletic performance.

But hey, guess what? Our furry pals, both feline and canine, can also get in on the action! This incredible fungus is excellent for igniting their energy levels and boosting their endurance. It's like a power-up potion for playful pups!

And here's the cherry on top: cordyceps, alongside other medicinal mushrooms, can work wonders for their immune system. Woof-tastic, right? In fact, studies are barking about its potential to treat immune deficiencies.

So, let's fetch that cordyceps power and watch our four-legged friends leap and bound with endless vitality!

Why is Boosie’s cordyceps the best?

Hold on tight, our friends, because our cordyceps is the real deal! It packs a mighty punch with a whopping 48% of beta-glucans and a solid 5.5mg of cordycepin in every tiny 1-gram serving. It blows the competition out of the water! Believe it or not, most other cordyceps products out there don't even come close to a trace of cordycepin.

Now, here's the kicker: don't be fooled by fancy jargon from other brands. Some may talk about extraction ratios or specific parts of the fungus like the fruiting body or mycelium. But here's the secret sauce: our whole mushroom powders boast higher beta-glucan levels than many extracts claiming to have the highest ratios. Quality is what matters, and we've got it in spades!

What’s cordycepin?

Alrighty, let's dive into the world of cordycepin! Picture this: cordycepin is like a cousin to adenosine, the big shot in all things cellular. They're practically look-alikes! But here's the cool part: cordycepin doesn't just sit around twiddling its thumbs. It's got some serious jobs to do. We're talking about taking down viruses like a superhero and showing off its antioxidant powers. Impressive, huh?

Now, here's the deal: cordycepin is still a bit of a mystery, like an unsolved riddle. The research is ongoing, and we're hungry for more knowledge to crack the code. We need more studies to uncover how it works its magic and reveal its full potential for making our lives and the lives of our furry friends better. So, stay tuned and keep your eyes peeled for more exciting updates on the cordycepin front!

Why can the polysaccharide amount be misleading?

Here's the inside scoop on what some brands may not tell you. When it comes to key nutrients, many brands either keep it under wraps or simply don't bother with testing. Sneaky, right?

Now, let's talk about polysaccharides. Some brands might flaunt the polysaccharide content, but here's the catch: polysaccharides can include things like starch, not just beta-glucans. So, even if you see a high polysaccharide amount, it doesn't necessarily mean you're getting a high dose of beta-glucans. You could be getting a whole lot of starch and little to none of those valuable beta-glucans.

We believe in full transparency, which is why we focus on testing and disclosing the key nutrients in our mushrooms. You deserve to know exactly what you're getting, without any hidden surprises. With us, you can trust that our mushroom powders are packed with the good stuff and free from any unnecessary starchy fillers. It's all about giving you the best of the best!

Which part of the cordyceps mushroom do you use?

Our cordyceps sinensis heteropolysaccharides are derived from the mycelium.

Do you use any fillers or additives?

Nope, not a chance! Our mushroom powders are 100% organic and pure, just like nature intended. No tricks, no extras, only the good stuff for your furry friend's well-being. It's all about keeping it clean and fabulous!

Do you test your mushrooms for heavy metals?

Absolutely! We check our mushrooms for lead, cadmium, mercury, and arsenic.

Are medicinal mushrooms suitable for all pets?

When it comes to medicinal mushrooms, it's important to consider your furry friend's individual needs and consult with your trusted veterinarian.

In general, many pets can benefit from medicinal mushrooms, but there are a few factors to consider:

  • Species and size: Different species of pets may have different sensitivities or responses to medicinal mushrooms. Additionally, the appropriate dosage may vary based on your pet's size.
  • Health condition: If your pet has any pre-existing medical conditions or is on medication, it's essential to consult with your veterinarian before introducing medicinal mushrooms to their routine.
  • Dosage and monitoring: It's important to follow the recommended dosage guidelines provided by your veterinarian. Regular monitoring of your pet's response and any potential changes in their health is essential to ensure their well-being.

Remember, your veterinarian is the guiding star in your pet's health journey. They have the expertise to provide tailored advice and determine if medicinal mushrooms are suitable for your pet.
